How to pop a pimple

Pimples are extremely annoying. They create negative impacts such as reducing self-esteem and damaging confidence which directly affect our social life. Most of the time pimples will go away on their own, but the process does take time. Thus in some occasions pimples tend to appear right before a party, a date or any special events. Therefore the quickest way of covering up is to pop them.

How to pop a pimple is quite tricky. Thus the best way to pop a pimple is to visit dermatologist or well-trained estheticians. Hence there are many types of pimple. The most common and easiest type to pop, is called white head (see picture 1).

What you will need before popping a pimple?

1) Soap or antibacterial hand cleansing solution.

2) Cut your nails short.

3) Cotton balls.

4) Acne treatment solution eg. benzoyl peroxide, vitamin A or vitamin E etc.

Instructions

Step 1 : Keep our hands clean!

Although this step may seem very straightforward. It is very important to carefully clean our hands before popping a pimple. Thus there might be some dirty bacteria that can cause more irritation or infection to the pimple. Wash our hands thoroughly with soap and warm water to reduce bacteria on our hands (see picture 2). Make sure to keep our nails cut short too!

Step 2 : Clean the surrounding area of a pimple.

When we pop a pimple our skin will be open which gives chance for dirty bacteria to enter into our skin. Acne bacteria may cause further infection and may make pimple worse. Therefore the best practice is to clean the surrounding area of pimple with rubbing alcohol or antibacterial face cleaner. Put the cleansing solution on a cotton ball and gently rub around the pimple (see picture 3).

Step 3 : How to pop a pimple

Put our index fingers around the pimple and gently press down that area (see picture 4). Hence, do not move our fingers and avoid letting our nails contract directly with the pimple. There will be a mixture of blood and yellow liquid come out from the pimple, do not worry! just follow the next step.

Step 4 : Clean it again

Use a clean cotton to wipe out blood and liquid that come out from the pimple (see picture 5). Put it right on top of the spot to stop the blood. Do it softly to avoid creating any irritation to the affected area.

Step 5 : Apply treatment solutions to the area

Thus to make the area dry up faster we need to apply the treatment solution on it (see picture 6). The treatment solution will help protect our skin from further infection and scarring. There are many acne treatment solutions out there in the market. We highly recommend you to use product which contains benzoyl peroxide (BPO), vitamin A or vitamin E.
